The Scholarship is available to International students who are applying for any Kent Institute Australia (Kent) undergraduate degree course and are citizens of eligible countries (see below). International students who have achieved sound academic standing and results in their previous studies will be considered for the Scholarship. Each Scholarship application is assessed on a case‐by‐case basis, and all successful applicants will be notified in writing after acceptance of their Offer of Admission – International Student Enrolment Agreement and prior to the commencement date.
The International Student Scholarship is governed by the following terms and conditions
Scholarships are designed to reward high achieving students from eligible countries or regions with a 30% reduction in tuition fees. |
Onshore applicants to Kent will have the Scholarship applied to their tuition fees from the first (1st) Unit of study enrolled (less the number of Units already successfully completed, Units exempted from the Scholarship or for which credit exemptions are granted). |
Offshore applicants to Kent will have the Scholarship applied to their tuition fees from the fifth (5th) Unit of study enrolled (less the number of Units already successfully completed, Units exempted from the Scholarship or for which credit exemptions are granted). |
Units Exempt from the Scholarship Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) Specialisation Units are exempt from this Scholarship. Students enrolled in Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Accounting courses will not have the fee reduction under this Scholarship applied to any Information Systems Specialisation Units they choose to study, however the Scholarship fee reduction will apply to all other Units in the course of study (subject to other terms and conditions). |
All Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of Kent to international students undertaking on‐campus, full‐time study of a Kent undergraduate degree. |
Grade assessment for eligible applicants will be aligned with equivalency guidelines under the Australian Government Department of Education and Training Country Education profiles. |
Scholarships are only available to new students enrolling at Kent Sydney or Melbourne Campuses. Current Kent students or students studying in conjunction with any other course (including Kent vocational courses) or a Scholarship/Bursary program are not eligible to apply. |
Scholarships are not transferable to third parties. |
Scholarships remain valid whilst the recipient:

Scholarships will be maintained subject to the recipient meeting all other Kent requirements. |
Scholarships are calculated on a per Trimester basis, and applied against each Unit enrolled. Scholarships are not redeemable for cash. |
By accepting this scholarship, recipients agree to be Kent student ambassadors and may be required to participate in Kent promotional or student events and uphold the reputation and standing of Kent. |
Scholarships may be withdrawn with ten (10) days written notice, should the recipient breach any of these conditions |
