Engineering Tuition Fee Scholarship Conditions
Receipt of this scholarship is dependent on the following conditions:
1. You are still required to pay your total fees due in advance and your Overseas Student Health Cover as listed in your International Student Offer and Acceptance Agreement.
2. You must be enrolled in an eligible on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate program. To continue receiving your scholarship into your second and future semesters, you must maintain your enrolment with the University and at the campus specified in your offer letter.
3. Your scholarship will be payable as a 16% discount on the full tuition fee for each course and will be calculated on the basis of the number of courses enrolled in during each semester.
4. The scholarship is non-refundable.
5. If you withdraw from a course of study after the applicable semester Census date, you will be able to retain your scholarship provided you continue to meet the scholarship conditions
6. If you withdraw from your program you will forfeit the scholarship
7. The scholarship will be awarded for study in a specific program and is not transferrable
8. The scholarship cannot be deferred.
Right of appeal
The University regards any decision in relation to these scholarships as final and will not entertain any appeal.
Dean's Bursary
In addition students enrolled in the above courses may receive a Dean's Bursary of $1150 per annum, awarded based on achievements in their previous study, and on-going successful study results.
Conditions of Dean's Bursary
1. You are still required to pay your total fees due in advance and your Overseas Student Health Cover as listed in your International Student Offer and Acceptance Agreement.
2. You must maintain your enrolment as a full-time student, and complete 60 credit points in a semester.
3. The bursary will be awarded for study in the specific program and is not transferrable
4. To continue receiving your scholarship into your second and future semesters, you must maintain an average grade of Credit (GPA of 5.0) in each progress review period of the degree, and not fail any courses of study.
5. The bursary is non-refundable
6. If you take leave of absence from your degree, you may forfeit the bursary and will be ineligible to apply for the scholarship upon your return from leave of absence.
7. If you withdraw from your program you will forfeit the bursary;
8. The bursary cannot be deferred.
9. Behave in a manner which upholds the positive reputation of the University;
How to apply
Students will be automatically assessed for scholarships when applying for an eligible on-campus program at Federation University Australia. There is no need for a separate application.
Accepting your scholarship
If you have an unconditional offer, you must accept the scholarship offer within four weeks of offer date. If you have an offer which is conditional, you must accept your offer after meeting the condition/s of your offer.
